Pick up your Texas Mountain Trail Passport from the following locations:

  • Alpine Visitors Center
  • Marfa Visitors Center
  • Big Bend Visitors Kiosk/Marathon
  • Big Bend Visitors Kiosk/Study Butte

OR

Grab a copy of the Big Bend and Texas Mountains Travel Guide, the Passport is inserted within the guide.

How to use your Passport

The Texas Mountain Trail Region is a large area and to fill your Passport will take some time. But no worries, your Passport is valid through December 31, 2023!

The Texas Mountain Trail Passport highlights twenty-five historic sites, attractions and destinations within our 6 county region. 

Bring your Passport to the specified locations and receive a stamp. 

Collect at least 20 stamps to win prizes AND be entered into a drawing to win a Grand Prize!

When you have acquired 20 stamps or more you will mail your completed passport along with your name, phone number, mailing address and email address to:

Don’t worry, we won’t keep your passport…

Upon verification of 20 or more stamps and collection of contact information your passport will be mailed back to you as a keepsake along with a prize. AND you will also be entered into a Drawing for a Weekend Get-A-Way in the Texas Mountain Trail Region!

Users MUST get their paper passport stamped to win prizes. This website is for informational purposes only.

***Some locations will not have staff to stamp your passport. These are indicated as “no stamp” or “self stamp” within the passport. You can initial (honor system) or you will find a self-stamp pad at that location. 

***Only 1 passport per adult. Families or groups of 4 or more -only 2 passports will be accepted, receive prizes and be entered into the drawing.
